Mingxing Fish Cave Scenic Area
The Mingxing Fish Cave Scenic Area is located on the west coast of Fuxian Lake, in Mingxing Village, situated between Qinglong Mountain and Baihu Mountain. It is designated as a National 3A-level Scenic Area, known for its unique natural beauty and tranquil surroundings.
Scenic Beauty
In the spring and summer, the area is often shrouded in mist, as the mountain’s moisture condenses, creating a misty landscape that blends harmoniously with the lake and mountains, resembling a Chinese landscape painting.
On clear, calm nights, visitors can enjoy a mesmerizing scene where the stars in the sky reflect in the clear waters of the lake, creating the illusion of stars falling into the water, which is how the area got its name, “Mingxing” (meaning “Star”).
