Together, “Gatangpa” represents moving to next year, a farewell to the old, and a warm welcome to the new. This festival embodies the renewal and revival of all things, symbolizing rebirth and hope. It celebrates the rejuvenation of nature, with trees turning green and hummingbirds chirping, marking the arrival of a season filled with vitality and promise.
