1️⃣ Altitude Sickness 🏔️

Get enough rest before arrival, avoid intense exercise in the first days, and drink plenty of water💧 Bring medical oxygen tanks or ensure your vehicle is equipped with them. Consider insurance that covers high-altitude sickness, and carry a portable oxygen can if needed.

2️⃣ Clothing & Sun Protection 🧥😎

Temperature changes a lot between day and night. Always carry a warm jacket (even in summer). UV rays are strong — don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses🕶, and a hat🧢

3️⃣ Food & Health 🍵💊

Eat light meals at first, and try butter tea or tsampa in moderation. Carry basic medicine like cold relief, anti-diarrhea, and motion sickness pills.

4️⃣ Culture & Etiquette 🙏

Inside monasteries, keep your voice down and don’t take photos without permission. Always walk clockwise around stupas and prayer wheels. Ask before photographing local people.

5️⃣ Travel Pace 🚌

Distances are long and drives can be tiring — avoid rushing your schedule. Spend 1–2 days in Lhasa to adapt before going to higher-altitude areas.

6️⃣ Best Seasons ☀️❄️

May–October: The most pleasant weather, perfect for Potala Palace, Namtso Lake, and Mt. Everest.

Winter (Nov–Feb): Fewer tourists and peaceful monasteries, but very cold.

✨ Xizang is not just a destination — it’s a journey for your soul. Take it slow, breathe deeply, and enjoy every moment. 🌈
