Sales Director

We are currently looking for a Sales Director, responsible for the performance of our complete operational business.

 

In this position, you are keeping an overview over current customer inquiries and businesses, are responsible for the company's revenues, support daily operations with professional advice where necessary as well as supervise the daily office work.

 

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Run and overview the company’s office activities and ensure the company’s revenues
  • Financial reporting (weekly, monthly, yearly)
  • Human Resource Management
  • Support maintaining our good reputation on the market as well as the company’s appearance on websites and in social networks
  • Report directly to the General Manager
  • Deliver operational advice to management and investors
  • Contact person for all problems related to the operational business

 

Applicant’s Requirements:

  • Solid background in business management / administration
  • Fluent as well as strong oral and written communication skills in our daily business language English (if possible native speaker level)
  • At least good basic communication skills in Chinese; further languages – especially European – are a plus
  • Customer service and detail-minded; well-organized and pro-active
  • Pragmatic character with analytical skills and hands-on mentality; quickly develops a sense of responsibility towards company and colleagues
  • Capable of handling difficult business situations, able to work under pressure and willing to go the ‘extra mile’ especially during peak travel seasons
  • Experienced in personnel management: be able to manage, train and motivate a team of currently 12 people
  • Very good MS Excel skills, further IT knowledge like website maintenance and general computer troubleshooting is a plus
  • First experiences in contract and project management
  • Prior work experience in tourism industry is a plus; knowledgeable of travel destinations in Yunnan and China

Licensed French-Chinese Speaking Tour Guide for Yunnan

The tour guide plays a very important and central role during the arranged tour. His or her responsibilities and tasks can get very challenging. The tour guide’s main concern should always be the confidence of the guests who are being guided by him/ her through the prepared itineraries and assist wherever it is necessary.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the guests to the tourist spots and guide them through the itinerary
  • Know all essential background knowledge such as important historic events associated with the visited locations
  • Communicate this knowledge to the tourists and be well prepared to answer questions fully and correctly
  • Assist the guests, coordinate processes, be able to improvise when necessary
  • Take care of medical issues and food needs of the tourists
  • Protect the tourists in all aspects during the time of travelling
  • Provide the company with quality pictures and necessary feedbacks from the clients as well as from the local arrangement (accommodations, restaurants, car quality, partner’s performance etc.)

 

Requirements:

  • Fluent in French, Chinese and if also possible, English
  • Tour guide license provided by CNTA (not necessary for suitable foreign applicants)
  • Team player, develops quickly a sense of duty for the company, no nine-to-five mentality
  • Prior work experience in tourism industry for at least 2 years
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and Chinese
  • Customer service minded and with an exemplary willingness to help out
  • Detail-minded, innovative and self-initiated
  • Good monitoring and time management skills
  • Willing to travel throughout China if necessary

 

Salary:

Native Italian Speaker with Tour Guide Experience

The tour guide plays a very important and central role during the arranged tour. Due to our strong engagement on the Italian market, we are currently looking for at least one native Italian speaker with experience in tour guiding and / or tourism.

  • Accompany the Italian guests to the tourist spots and guide them through the itinerary

  • Communicate this knowledge to the tourists and be well prepared to answer questions fully and correctly
  • Assist the guests, coordinate processes, be able to improvise when necessary
  • Take care of medical issues and food needs of the tourists

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in Italian (Chinese is a plus!)
